The City of Nelsonville Police and Fire Committee held a virtual meeting on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 6:00PM. The meeting was held to discuss the city’s shopping cart ordinance with area businesses. Nelsonville water outage and boil order, SR691, Elm Rock Rd, Kimberly Rd, E Canal St “Y” to SR691, until further notice
The Nelsonville Water Department is currently working on a water main break on East Canal Street. The water service will be off for the following areas until water service is restored and once water service is restored the following areas will be under a boil order. State Route 691, Elm Rock Road, Kimberly Road and East Canal Street from the “Y” to State Route 691.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.
This Boil Order is in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.
Nelsonville Mill St, Poling Ave to Kontner St, Mon, 5/4/2020 and Tue, 5/5/2020, from 7AM to 6PM, use an alternate route
The City of Nelsonville announces that Mill Street will be closed from Poling Avenue to Kontner Street, Monday, May 4, 2020 and Tuesday, May 5, 2020. The roadway will be closed each day from 7:00AM until 6:00PM. The roadway is being closed for an R&R Pipeline gas line repair project, weather permitting. Please use an alternate route.
Nelsonville Burr Oak BLVD CLOSED, W High St to C&J Tax Services, Mon, 5/4/2020, 9AM to 1PM for grass mowing, avoid area
The City of Nelsonville announces that Burr Oak Boulevard will be closed from West High Street to C&J Tax Services, Monday, May 4, 2020 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM. The roadway is being closed to allow crews to safely cut the grass along the roadway. Please avoid this area.
