Nelsonville boil advisory SR691, Hocking Pkwy to Kimberly, and Kimberly, SR691 to Wolfe Bennett, until Wed, 6/10/20, 3PM

The City of Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil advisory for State Route 691 from Hocking Parkway to Kimberly Road, and Kimberly Road from State Route 691 to Wolfe Bennett Road. The boil advisory is being issued due to water service having been turned off for the area. The boil advisory will be in effect until Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 3:00PM, unless notified otherwise.

When a boil advisory is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.

Due to social distancing recommendations on preventing the spread of the COVID-19, Nelsonville City Council will be meeting in regular session Monday, June 8, 2020 at 7PM via a virtual meeting. The public may not attend the meeting in person. The meeting will be live streamed from the City of Nelsonville Facebook Page, (City of Nelsonville, Ohio, @nelsonvillecity). Nelsonville alley between Oak St and Elizabeth St closed, Wed, 6/10/20 to Fri, 6/19/20 7AM to 6PM, use alternate route

The City of Nelsonville announces that the alley between Oak Street and Elizabeth Street will be closed, Wednesday, June 10, 2020 through Friday, June 19, 2020 weekdays only.  The roadway will be closed each day from 7:00AM until 6:00PM.  The roadway is being closed for an R&R Pipeline gas line repair project, weather permitting.  Please use an alternate route.

Nelsonville College St closed Elizabeth St to Oak St, Tue, 6/9/2020 to Fri, 6/12/2020, 7AM to 6PM, use alternate route

The City of Nelsonville announces that College Street will be closed between Elizabeth Street and Oak Street, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 through Friday, June 12, 2020.  The roadway will be closed each day from 7:00AM until 6:00PM.  The roadway is being closed for an R&R Pipeline gas line repair project, weather permitting.  Please use an alternate route.

Nelsonville Madison St closure W Franklin St to Cross St, delayed until Tue 6/9/20 and Wed, 6/10/20, 8AM to 4PM

The Nelsonville Water Department has delayed the Madison Street closure from West Franklin Street to Cross Street, until Tuesday, June 9, 2020 and Wednesday, June 10, 2020.  The roadway will be closed each day from 8:00AM until 4:00PM, during these times the water will be turned off to make repairs to a water main. Once water service is restored, a boil order will be issued to the affected areas. Weather permitting. Please use an alternate route.
