REMEMBER – The City of Nelsonville would like to remind the public of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K run and walk, Sunday, April 30, 2022, between the hours of 7:00AM and 1:00PM. During these times the Nelsonville Public Square will be closed to vehicle traffic and parking. 5K participants will be on streets throughout Nelsonville. Additionally, many spectators are expected in the city. Drive with caution throughout Nelsonville and watch out for pedestrians. The City of Nelsonville announces that the intersection of East Canal Street and Monroe Street will be closed to traffic 7:00 AM, Monday, March 6, 2023, through 5:00PM, Monday, March 13, 2023. Road closed signs will be placed at the Rocky Boots Way traffic light and West of McDonalds on Canal Street. Additionally, there will be a detour for through traffic with signs taking traffic on State Route 691 to Hocking Parkway to keep tractor trailers and other larger trucks off the residential streets. The roadway is being closed so that crews can install a new sanitary sewer line. Please avoid this area and use an alternate route.

The closure of the intersection at East Canal Street and Monroe Street will be 7:00 AM, Monday, March 6, 2023, through 5:00PM, Monday, March 13, 2023.
