Nelsonville seeking residents for Board of Parks and Recreation, letters of interest to administration@cityofnelsonville.com

The City of Nelsonville is seeking applications for the City’s Board of Parks and Recreation. To be considered for the Board, the applicant must be an elector of the City of Nelsonville. The Board of Parks and Recreation shall consist of five (5) members serving overlapping terms of five (5) years each.

It shall be the function and duty of this Board of Parks and Recreation to recommend a program to Council for the operation of public parks, recreation facilities, and the acquisition, improvement, construction and maintenance of the parks, parkways, bikeways, and any other services related thereto. The Board’s functions and duties shall be advisory only.
