The Nelsonville Parks and Recreation Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 6:30PM in council chambers at City Hall.  The meeting is being held to discuss reestablishing the “Parks and Recreation Commission”.  This is an attempt to gain more community involvement in various projects. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special Council meeting on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at City Hall.

The purpose of this meeting is to:

1. Pass under an emergency, an ordinance authorizing the City Manager to submit an application to participate in the Ohio Public Works Commission State Capital Improvement program.

ADDITIONAL SPECIAL MEETING

The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special Council meeting on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 6:40 PM in Council Chambers at City Hall.  President Gustafan will oversee this meeting.

The meeting is being held to:

1. Discuss and then confirm the appointment of Margaret Gustafan as Nelsonville City Council President
2. Discuss and confirm the appointments of Dereck Bowens and Dottie Fromal to their Nelsonville City Council seats
3. Discuss and vote on the Nelsonville City attorney’s position and contract
