LOCATION CHANGE

The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special Council meeting on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at City Hall.

The meeting is being held to discuss:

1. Fill two vacant City Council seats
2. Consider the appointment of a City Council President
3. To give a second reading to the Auditor’s office salary ordinance
4. To give a second reading to the sewer plant ordinance
5. Enact any sewer plant ordinances that are necessary prior to September 1, 2018
6. To consider the appointment of a City Council clerk

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The Nelsonville Street Committee will hold a meeting on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 7:00PM at in council chambers at City Hall. The topic of discussion will be City streets.  The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The Nelsonville Records Commission will hold a meeting at Nelsonville City Hall on Monday, August 13, 2018, following the scheduled City Council meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss;

1. Destruction of Police records
2. Destruction of Water Department records
3. Destruction of City Auditor records

The Nelsonville City Council will hold a regular Council meeting on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 7:00PM in Council Chambers at City Hall. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The City of Nelsonville Police and Fire Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 6:30PM in council chambers at City Hall.  The meeting is being held to discuss;

1. Code enforcement
2. Fire hydrants

The Nelsonville Parks and Recreation Committee will hold a meeting on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 7:00PM in council chambers at City Hall.  The meeting is being held to discuss;

1. Renovation projects at Polley Field
2. Nelsonville becoming more bicycle friendly

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The City of Nelsonville is accepting letters of interest for the position of Council Clerk. The Clerk will be expected to;

1. Attend regular and special City Council meetings
2. Prepare the City Council meeting minutes
3. Prepare the City Council meeting agenda
4. Record the ordinances and resolutions
5. Perform other duties as assigned

This is a part-time position that will remain open until filled.
