The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special Council meeting on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 7:00 PM in Council Chambers at City Hall. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Village of Buchtel water and sewer system. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
The City of Nelsonville announces that on Thursday, August 29, 2019 and Friday, August 30, 2019 the Nelsonville Street Department will be sweeping Chestnut Street if it is not raining. The sweeping will occur from 3:00 AM until 7:00 AM. The City is requesting that no cars park on Chestnut Street until the sweeping is completed.
Please park on side streets if possible until sweeping is completed.

The City of Nelsonville announces that set up for The Parade of The Hills Festival will begin this weekend. Street closures will begin on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at 12:00 PM and remain closed through Sunday, August 18, 2019, at 12:00 PM. Full street closure with NO limited access is due to pedestrian safety concerns from prior years.

The City of Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil advisory for Walnut Street from Burr Oak Boulevard to Poplar Street. The boil advisory is being issued due to a leak repair on the main water line. The boil advisory will be in effect until Friday, August 9, 2019 at 4:00PM, unless notified otherwise.
When a boil advisory is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.
