The City of Nelsonville announces the winning sealed bid on property located at 126 Jefferson Street Nelsonville, Ohio. This property was deemed unnecessary for public use. Bids for the property were accepted from June 14, 2021 until June 28, 2021. The winning bid was placed by Robert Ryan as the only bidder for $7,617.72 plus closing cost with the property being sold as is.
The City of Nelsonville announces that Mill Street will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 8:00AM and remain closed for approximately (3) three weeks. Access will be made available to the residents of the street. The roadway is being closed so that crews can replace water lines along the street. Please avoid this area and use an alternate route.
The Nelsonville Water Department has CANCELED the boil order for Mill Street, Kontner Street, Poling Avenue, Short Street and Fort Street from West Washington Street to Clinton Street. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this incident.
The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for Mill Street, Kontner Street, Poling Avenue, Short Street and Fort Street from West Washington Street to Clinton Street. The reason for this Boil Order was to repair a leak on the mainline.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.
This Boil Order is in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.
