The Nelsonville Water Department replaced fire hydrants that shut off water service to Pinegrove Drive and Walnut Street from Second Street to Burr Oak Boulevard on both sides of the street, Monday, November 29, and Tuesday, November 30, 2021, remember a boil order is in effect for the same area.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.
The Boil Order will be in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.
The City of Nelsonville Parks and Recreation Committee held a meeting on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 6:30PM. The meeting was held to discuss receiving property for a future park.

There will be an open house for the property on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 12:00PM until 5:30PM. This property has been deemed unnecessary for public use. Once water service is restored a boil order will be in effect for the same area.
