The City of Nelsonville announces that street closures and NO PARKING for the Bigfoot Festival will begin on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 12:00 AM and remain closed through Monday, October 5, 2026. This is a full street closure with NO limited access due to pedestrian safety concerns.
The following streets will be closed to all traffic:
- West Washington Street from Post Office to Fort Street
- West Columbus Street from Library to Public Square
- East Columbus Street from Public Square to Jefferson Street
- Rocky Boot Way from Public Square to Canal Street
- Public Square
- September Street from West Canal Street to West Columbus Alley
- West Columbus Alley from September Street to Rocky Boot Way
Please expect vendor, carnival rides and pedestrian traffic throughout the area. Please use caution in the area during the festival and please consider using an alternate route.
