The City of Nelsonville is pleased to announce that The Libby Project will be holding a free core vaccines clinic at the Nelsonville Dog Park on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00AM until 2:00PM. The Libby Project is excited to offer this clinic in Nelsonville to support pet owners in need in the Nelsonville area. Since The Libby Project is a non-profit organization, they do ask for proof of financial assistance at registration to make sure the vaccines go to families who truly benefit.
The Libby Project vaccine clinic will provide a combined vaccine that protects dogs against 5 common canine diseases: Distemper, Adenovirus type 1 and 2, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. Dog owners interested in bringing their furry friend to the vaccine clinic need to pre-register for the clinic online at http://www.thelibbyproject.com/events. A booster vaccine will be given on Saturday, October 7, 2026.
