The City of Nelsonville announces that the following City Council Committees will be holding meetings on Monday, June 15, 2026, at City Hall.

6:00 PM – Finance Committee
Duration: 15 minutes

  • Discussion to consider updates to the 2026 budget amendment.

6:15 PM – Planning and Development Committee
Duration: 30 minutes

  • Discussion about America 250 celebration planning.
  • Discussion about DORA, (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area).
  • Discussion about HAPCAP, (Hocking-Athens-Perry Community Action).

6:45PM – Police and Fire Committee
Duration: 15 minutes

  • Discussion about proposed ordinance changes.
  • Discussion about proposed policy updates.

7:00PM – Parks and Recreation Committee
Duration: 40 minutes

  • Receive and consider report on the Nelsonville Aquatic Center.
  • Update and discuss site evaluation progress for a new pool.
  • Discussion about new Nelsonville Commons Playground.
