The Nelsonville Water Department announces that Grover Street will be closed for an additional 30 days for work performed on the Orchard Street water tank. Local traffic will be maintained for residents.

The City of Nelsonville announces that Sylvania Avenue will be closed at State Route 78 beginning Wednesday, August 7, 2013, for seven (7) days for new road alignment due to by-pass construction. Please avoid the area.

The City of Nelsonville will be closing Columbus Street from September Street to the Public Square starting at 8:00 am on Friday, August 2nd for the 7th Annual Gus Macker Basketball Tournament;
The street will remain closed until Sunday, August 4th at 8:00 pm. Please use alternate routes to travel in and around the downtown Nelsonville area. Be careful of the large number of pedestrians in the area over the weekend.
