The City of Nelsonville will be closing Columbus Street from September Street to the Public Square starting at 8:00 am on Friday, August 2nd for the 7th Annual Gus Macker Basketball Tournament;

The street will remain closed until Sunday, August 4^th at 8:00 pm.  Please use alternate routes to travel in and around the downtown Nelsonville area.  Be careful of the large number of pedestrians in the area over the weekend.

The City of Nelsonville announces that the Public Square will be closed to traffic on Friday, July 26, 2013, from 12:00PM to 9:00PM for Final Friday.  Citizens are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.

The City of Nelsonville announces that East Washington Street at Fort Street west to the first alley will be closed to thru traffic on Friday, July 26, 2013, from 12:00PM to 12:00AM Saturday, July 27, 2013, for Stuart’s Opera House Free Outdoor Concert.

The City of Nelsonville announces that Harper Street between Chestnut Street and Poplar Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday, July 13, 2013, beginning at 8:00AM and will reopen at 3:00PM for the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church Family Fun Day.

The City of Nelsonville announces that E Franklin Street from Jefferson Street east will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM for a large tree removal.

The City of Nelsonville announces that Watkins Street between Chestnut and Jefferson Streets and Chestnut Street between Grosvenor and Watkins Streets will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, July 8, 2013, for street construction until further notice.

The Nelsonville Water Department announces that Grover Street will be closed to thru traffic beginning Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 7:00AM for 30 days for work to be performed on the Orchard Street water tank. Local traffic will be maintained for residents.
