The Nelsonville City Council will hold a regular Council meeting on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 7:00PM in Council Chambers at City Hall.

UPDATE, Nelsonville estimates water service to be restored 3AM to 4AM, boil order in effect for all Nelsonville water customers

The City of Nelsonville have completed repairs to a major water main break located on South Harper Street. The City’s water system has been shut off while the water line was repaired. Currently crews are working to turn back on 20 water line valves, then the City’s water plant can be restarted to make sure the repair holds. If all goes well, it is estimated that water service will be restored between 3:00AM and 4:00AM. This water outage affecting affect all Nelsonville water customers including the Village of Buchtel. A boil order is in effect until further notice for all Nelsonville water customers, unless notified otherwise.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

The City of Nelsonville is currently working on a major water main break located on South Harper Street. The repair will require that the City’s water system be shut off until the water line is repaired. This water outage will affect all Nelsonville water customers including the Village of Buchtel. Mon, 11/1/21, Nelsonville Finance Committee rescheduled to Tue, 11/16/21, 7PM, public is invited and encouraged to attend

The City of Nelsonville Finance Committee has rescheduled their Monday, November 1, 2021, to Tuesday, November 16, 2021at 7:00PM at City Hall. The meeting is being held to discuss City finances and the 2022 City budget.
