The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for the following areas. Burr Oak Boulevard from US Route 33 over pass to the Village of Buchtel, The Village of Buchtel, Runyon Lane, Blair Court, Sylvania Avenue, Woodlane Drive, Crihfield Drive, Hillside Drive, Carbon Hill Buchtel Road from Woodland Road to Sandy Lane, Sandy Lane, Shady (Dew) Lane.

The Boil Order has been issued due to a repair for a leak on the mainline. When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

This Boil Order is in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.

The Nelsonville Water Department will be shutting off the water to Sylvania Avenue at 1:00PM, Thursday, October 17, 2019 to repair a water leak. Once the leak is repaired and water service is restored, a boil order will be in effect for the area for 48 hours.
