The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for Madison Street from West Franklin Street to Edwards Street, West Franklin Street from Madison Street to Adams Street, Lancaster Street from Sheppard Street to Clinton Street.

The Boil Order has been issued due to the repair of a fire hydrant. When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

This Boil Order is in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.

The City of Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil advisory for State Route 691 from Hocking Parkway to Kimberly Road, and Kimberly Road from State Route 691 to Wolfe Bennett Road. The boil advisory is being issued due to water service having been turned off for the area. The boil advisory will be in effect until Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 3:00PM, unless notified otherwise.

When a boil advisory is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.

The Nelsonville Water Department is currently working on a water main break on East Canal Street. The water service will be off for the following areas until water service is restored and once water service is restored the following areas will be under a boil order. State Route 691, Elm Rock Road, Kimberly Road and East Canal Street from the “Y” to State Route 691and Hocking College.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

The City of Nelsonville Water Department has canceled the boil order for Burr Oak Boulevard from Crihfield Drive to Buchtel, Blair Court, Runyan Drive, Sylvania Avenue, Carbon Hill Buchtel Road from Bessemer Road to Sandy Lane, Sandy Lane, Bessemer Road, Conner Road and The Village of Buchtel.
