The City of Nelsonville announces that the Public Square will be closed to traffic Friday, August 9, 2024, at 3:00PM until 9:00PM for The Plains Lions Club Car Show. There will be no parking allowed on the Public Square starting at 2:30PM, Friday, August 9, 2024. Unauthorized cars will be towed away at the owner’s expense. Please avoid this area and use an alternate route.

Nelsonville street paving, Mon, 8/5/24, Fort St/ Franklin to Washington, E Franklin St/ Fort to Washington, and Kontner St, Tue, 8/6, Wed, 8/7/24, 8AM to 6PM daily, please avoid this area
The City of Nelsonville announces that per McKee Paving, Fort Street between Franklin and Washington, East Franklin Street from Fort Street to Washington Street, and Kontner Street will have no on street parking Monday, August 5, 2024, from 8:00AM until 6:00PM. Additionally, Pleasantview Avenue will have no on street parking Tuesday, August 6, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 8:00AM until 6:00PM. The parking ban is in effect so that crews can perform road asphalt paving. Expect delays, please avoid this area and use an alternate route.
