Nelsonville boil order, Harper St – High St to dead end, Ashton Ave, until 3PM, Sat, 8/10/24, boil drinking water 3 minutes before consuming

The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for Harper Street from High Street to the dead End and Ashton Avenue until 3:00PM, Saturday August 10, 2024. This boil order is necessary due to a water line break repair.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.

Nelsonville E Franklin St, CLOSED, Fort St to Washington St until 8AM, Wed, 8/7/24, due to high temperatures affecting new asphalt, avoid area, use alternate route

The City of Nelsonville announces that East Franklin Street, from Fort Street to Washington Street will be closed to all traffic until 8:00AM, Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The street closure is required to allow newly laid asphalt time to cure with the high heat. Please avoid this area and use an alternate route.
