The City of Nelsonville would like to remind the public of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K run and walk, Sunday, April 28, 2024, between the hours of 7:00AM and 1:00PM. During these times the Nelsonville Public Square will be closed to vehicle traffic and parking. 5K participants will be on streets throughout Nelsonville. Additionally, many spectators are expected in the city. Drive with caution throughout Nelsonville and watch out for pedestrians. Nelsonville boil order for E Franklin St and Fort St from W Washington St to E Franklin St until 5PM, Wed, 4/24/24, boil cooking and drinking water 3 minutes before consuming

The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for all customers on East Franklin Street and Fort Street from West Washington Street to East Franklin Street until 5:00PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The boil order is due to crews tying into a new water line.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
