During this visit RCAP will be conducting home visits to verify service line material entering the home. RCAP will also be deploying a soft digging method to visually inspect a portion of the service line at the curb stop. RCAP staff will be wearing High Visibility apparel with the RCAP logo and have identification with them.
If a lead water service line is found, the homeowner will be notified of its presence and can discuss a plan to remove the lead with the city. A lead service line will not pose an immediate health risk to you or your family.
