The Nelsonville Water Park will be sponsoring a “Summer Splash Bash” on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 12:00PM until 3:00PM. DJ Rockin’ Reggie will be performing music for the event. The public is invited to come out and enjoy an afternoon of swimming, music, games, and family fun. Standard water park admission rates and passes apply to this event.

The City of Nelsonville announces that the Canal Street construction project will continue Monday, July 7, 2025. The second section of concrete and paving will be to East Canal Street from Watkins Street to 2nd Street. The roadway will be closed to all traffic. A detour has been established using Watkins Street, Chestnut Street and 2nd Street.
