The City of Nelsonville announces that Church Street will be closed between Saint John Street and Saint Charles Street Monday, September 20, 2021, until 5:00PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Motorist can use Saint John ally as a detour until the street reopens. The street is being closed for a water line installation project. Please avoid this area and use an alternate route.
The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for Fort Street from Franklin Street to Grover Street, Short Street, Kontner Street, Mill Street, Poling Avenue, Pleasantview Avenue, Diamond Street, Verity Street, Fairview Street, Scott Street, College Street, Elizabeth Street, Oak Street, Lancaster Street, and Clinton Street. The reason for this Boil Order was to repair a leak on the mainline.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.
This Boil Order is in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.
