The City of Nelsonville announces that the St. Joseph Health Services mobile health unit will be in Nelsonville on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 8:00AM until 3:00PM and will be located at 68 West Washington Street.

St. Joseph Health Services mobile health unit brings comprehensive behavioral health and recovery services directly to Nelsonville, removing barriers and making care more accessible than ever.

St. Joseph Health Services mobile health unit offers mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and medication-assisted treatment, all delivered by licensed professionals in a safe, supportive environment. The team also provides peer support services, connecting individuals with people who understand the recovery journey firsthand.

In addition, St. Joseph Health Services mobile health unit offers on-site lab services, including urinalysis screening, along with medication management to ensure continuity of care.

St. Joseph Health Services mobile health unit proudly serves veterans and are in-network with VA Community Care, helping those who have served our country access the treatment they deserve.

The City of Nelsonville announces that the Ohio Department of Transportation, (ODOT) will be doing street line painting along all of Canal Street on Monday, April 27, 2026. Paint crews are expecting to start work at 7:00AM and work until it is completed. The work will cause traffic interruptions along Canal Street. Please watch for work crews and drive with caution around work areas.

Nelsonville Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K run and walk, Sun, 4/26/26, 7AM to 1PM, Public Square closed to all traffic and parking at 5AM, Drive with caution, watch for pedestrians

The City of Nelsonville would like to remind the public of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 5K run and walk, Sunday, April 26, 2026, between the hours of 7:00AM and 1:00PM. The Nelsonville Public Square will be closed to vehicle traffic and parking starting at 5:00AM, Sunday, April 26, 2026. Vehicles remaining parked on the public square after 5:00AM are subject to be towed at the owner’s expense.

Tunnel to Towers 5K participants will be on streets throughout Nelsonville. Additionally, many spectators are expected in the city. Drive with caution throughout Nelsonville and watch out for pedestrians.
