Buchtel boil order for SR78 from First St to Marietta Ave, Ohio Ave and Bank St, until 3PM, Sat, 5/30/2026, boil cooking and drinking water three minutes before consuming

The Nelsonville Utilities Department has issued a boil order for State Route 78 from First Street to Marietta Avenue, Ohio Avenue and Bank Street, in the Village of Buchtel. The boil order is due to a new water line tie in. The boil order will be in effect for these areas until 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2026.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
