Nelsonville City Council special meeting Wed, 11/10/21, 7PM, the public is invited and encouraged to attend

The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is for first reading of the 2022 trash and sewer rates ordinance and to consider the passage of a change order for Mill and Saint John Street water improvement project.

Nelsonville water main break & outage causing boil order for Riverside DR until Sat, 11/6/2021 at 6PM

The City of Nelsonville is currently working on a water main break located on Riverside Drive. The repair will require that water be shut off to the line until the water line is repaired. This water outage will affect all Riverside Drive. A boil order will be in effect for Riverside Drive until Saturday, 11/6/2021 at 6:00PM.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

Nelsonville water main break & outage causing boil order for Village of Buchtel until Sat, 11/6/2021 at 5PM

The City of Nelsonville is currently working on a water main break located on Burr Oak Boulevard. The repair will require that water be shut off to the line until the water line is repaired. This water outage will affect the Village of Buchtel. A boil order will be in effect for the Village of Buchtel until Saturday, 11/6/2021 at 5:00PM.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

UPDATE, Nelsonville estimates water service to be restored 3AM to 4AM, boil order in effect for all Nelsonville water customers

The City of Nelsonville have completed repairs to a major water main break located on South Harper Street. The City’s water system has been shut off while the water line was repaired. Currently crews are working to turn back on 20 water line valves, then the City’s water plant can be restarted to make sure the repair holds. If all goes well, it is estimated that water service will be restored between 3:00AM and 4:00AM. This water outage affecting affect all Nelsonville water customers including the Village of Buchtel. A boil order is in effect until further notice for all Nelsonville water customers, unless notified otherwise.
