The City of Nelsonville announces that the following City Council Committees will be holding meetings on Monday, November 9, 2026, at City Hall.

5:30 PM – Utilities Committee
Duration: 30 minutes

  1. Review the findings of the Rural Community Assistance Program (RCAP) investigation into the City of Nelsonville’s utility rates.
  2. Discuss and consider a recommendation regarding potential adjustments to municipal utility rates for 2027.

6:00 PM – Finance Committee
Duration: 1 hour

  1. Review and consider recommendations concerning potential changes to municipal utility rates for 2027.
  2. Continue discussions regarding the development of the City’s 2027 budget framework.
