The City of Nelsonville announces that the following City Council Committees will be holding meetings on Monday, September 14, 2026, prior to the 7:00PM City Council meeting at City Hall.

4:30 PM – Parks and Recreation Committee
Duration: 20 minutes

  • Discussion about the geotechnical testing for the Nelsonville Aquatic Center that was authorized by Council.

4:50 PM – Streets Committee
Duration: 15 minutes

  • Discussion about a new ODOT project.

5:15 PM – Utilities Committee
Duration: 45 minutes

  • Discussion concerning information technology and artificial intelligence policy.

6:00 PM – Finance Committee
Duration: 45 minutes

  • Discussion with the City Auditor regarding the City’s current position in the 2027 budget-planning process.
  • New business
