The City of Nelsonville Utilities Committee held a meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 5:50PM in City Hall. The meeting was held to discuss,
- Commercial rental units – requirement for master water meters
- Changing the water deposit to a refundable deposit of approximately $150–$175
- Disconnect notices – proposed change to the required notice period from the current “no less than 5 days and no more than 10 days” to “no less than 5 days and no more than 15 days” due to delays in postal delivery
