The City of Nelsonville announces that the Public Square will be closed on Saturday, April 28, 2018 beginning at 9:00AM. The Public Square is being closed for a Cruise In/ Car Show that will run from 12:00PM until 4:00PM.  Registration starts at 11:00AM with a $10.00 registration fee for show vehicles.  Proceeds benefit the Nelsonville Fire Department Toy Drive and the Nelsonville Food Cupboard.  General admission is free.  Watch for pedestrians and stopped traffic in the area.

The City of Nelsonville announces that access to Upper Pine Grove Drive will be limited due to storm drain repairs Monday, April 23, 2018 from 7:00AM until 3:30PM. Please drive safely.

The Athens County Engineer’s Office will be closing Athens County Road 1, Kimberly Road, from Township Road 566 Minkers Run Road to County Road 73, Wolfe Bennett Road in York Township.  The roadway will be closed Monday, 4/23/2018 from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.  The roadway is being closed for a culvert replacement project, weather permitting. Please avoid this area.
