The City of Nelsonville announces that all City offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. City offices will re-open for business on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, for regular business hours.
The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio until midnight Thursday, June 29, 2023.
Smoke from the Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” range.
