The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 8:00 PM, at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and take possible action ordinance to retain legal counsel.

Nelsonville utility pole work on Adams St, temporary closures, Mon, 1/5/2026 through Thu, 1/8/2026, avoid area, use an alternative route

The City of Nelsonville announces that 5-Star Electric (Contracted by AEP) will be working on replacing utility poles along Adams Street starting today, Monday, January 5, 2026, and will continue through Thursday, January 8, 2026. During work Adams Street may be closed to vehicle traffic for small periods of time. Please avoid this area and use an alternative route.
