    • ORDINANCE 03-24. An ordinance declaring city vehicles are for on duty business use only and requiring those vehicles to be parked on city property when not in use.
    • ORDINANCE 04-24. An ordinance raising the salary of the Nelsonville Fire Chief to seventy-nine thousand dollars ($79,000.00) per year.
  • Ordinances for first reading
    • An ordinance accepting Garry Hunter’s counteroffer to settle all of Garry Hunter’s legal claims against the City of Nelsonville, Ohio for $148,455 (one hundred fourty-eight thousand, four hundred and fifty-five dollars) and declaring an emergency.
    • An ordinance codifying Nelsonville City Council’s January 22, 2024, motion and vote to remove Johnathan Robe as Nelsonville City Attorney.
    • An ordinance setting a dollar amount where permission by ordinance is required to make any purchase over $10,000.

Under the Ohio Revised Code authorizing Council to enter into Executive Session regarding the Labor Agreement Contracts is O.R.C. 121.22(G)(4) (authorizing an executive session for the purpose of “preparing for, conducting, or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment.”)
  2. Under the Ohio Revised Code authorizing Council to enter into Executive Session regarding pending litigation against the City (including to consider settlement of such pending litigation) is O.R.C. 121.22(G)(3) (authorizing an executive session for the purpose of “conferences with an attorney for the public body concerning disputes involving the public body that are the subject of pending or imminent court action.”)
  3. Ordinance 10-24: Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Athens County 9-1-1.
  4. Ordinance 11-24: Authorizing the City Manager to enter into and negotiate a contract with Mr. Robe as City Attorney.
