The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Athens County from 10PM, Tuesday, 2/6/18 until 4PM, Wednesday, 2/7/28.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS; A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible. Additional information can be found at http://www.weather.gov/rlx as well as on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Athens County from 10PM, Tuesday, 2/6/18 until 4PM, Wednesday, 2/7/18.

The Nelsonville Finance Committee will hold a meeting on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 7:30PM in council chambers at City Hall. The topic of discussion will be the City budget. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The snow emergency for Athens County has been canceled. Please drive carefully some hazardous road conditions may still exist in remote areas of the county.

The City of Nelsonville Water Department has canceled the boil order for water customers on Grover Street, Frederick Street, Edwards Street, John Street, Williams Street, and Madison Street from Grover to City limits. We would like to thank those affected by this incident for their patience and understanding.
