City of Nelsonville City Council is accepting applications for the position of Council Clerk. The Clerk position is part-time and serves at the pleasure of City Council. The Clerk may not hold any other office or position of employment within the City.

Core Duties:

• Maintaining an accurate and complete journal of Council proceedings.
• Attending regular and special Council meetings.
• Recording ordinances and resolutions.
• Preparing meeting minutes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay for the position starts at $500 monthly, increasing to $1000 monthly in 3 years.
