The Nelsonville Water Department has CANCELED the boil order for Short Street, Kontner Street, Mill Street and Poling Avenue.

The Nelsonville Water Department will be replacing fire hydrants that will shut off water service to Pinegrove Drive and Walnut Street from Second Street to Burr Oak Boulevard on both sides of the street tomorrow, Monday, November 29, 2021, from 9:00AM until the replacement is completed. Once water service is restored a boil order will be in effect for the same area.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.
The Boil Order will be in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.
The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for the following areas, Short Street, Kontner Street, Mill Street and Poling Avenue.

This water outage will affect all Riverside Drive. A boil order will be in effect for Riverside Drive until Saturday, 11/6/2021 at 6:00PM.

The City of Nelsonville have completed repairs to a major water main break located on South Harper Street. The City’s water system has been shut off while the water line was repaired. Currently crews are working to turn back on 20 water line valves, then the City’s water plant can be restarted to make sure the repair holds. If all goes well, it is estimated that water service will be restored between 3:00AM and 4:00AM. This water outage affecting affect all Nelsonville water customers including the Village of Buchtel. A boil order is in effect until further notice for all Nelsonville water customers, unless notified otherwise.
