Athens County Humane Society volunteers will be setting live traps to catch as many of the local feral cat population as possible the evening of Tuesday, May 27, 2025. The City asks residents to ensure that their cats are kept inside the evening of May 27th to avoid the risk of them being captured in the live traps.
