The City of Nelsonville announces that the city’s water park will be closed Tuesday, July 1, 2025, due to forecasted rain and possible severe weather.

Nelsonville E Canal St CLOSED Watkins St to 2nd St, Mon, 7/7/2025, detour is Watkins St, Chestnut St and 2nd St, avoid area, use alternate routes

The City of Nelsonville announces that the Canal Street construction project will continue Monday, July 7, 2025. The second section of concrete and paving will be to East Canal Street from Watkins Street to 2nd Street. The roadway will be closed to all traffic. A detour has been established using Watkins Street, Chestnut Street and 2nd Street.

Nelsonville Scott St closed Tue, 7/8 and Wed, 7/9/2025, for tree work, traffic detoured to Pleasantview Ave with traffic light control

The City of Nelsonville announces that Scott Street will be closed Tuesday, July 8, 2025, and Wednesday, July 9, 2025, for tree work along the street. Vehicle traffic will be detoured to Pleasantview Avenue and traffic controlled by traffic lights on Fort St and Pleasantview Avenue.

Nelsonville W Canal St CLOSED W Washington St to Madison St, Mon, 7/7/2025, detour is W Washington St and Madison St, avoid area, use alternate routes

The City of Nelsonville announces that the Canal Street construction project will start Monday, July 7, 2025. The first section of concrete and paving will be to West Canal Street from West Washington to Madison Street. The roadway will be closed to all traffic. A detour has been established using West Washington Street and Madison Street.
