The City of Nelsonville is seeking people interested in filling the open position of part-time Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.

The Administrative Assistant to the City Manager performs a variety of administrative support functions for the Office of the City Manager and directly for the City Manager as assigned. The incumbent serves as first point of public contact for the City Manager’s Office.

Compensation: From $12.00 – $16.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

6-hour shift
Monday to Friday
On call

Nelsonville water outage Mon, 4/24/23, 8AM, Monroe St from Myers St to dead end, all North St, 24-hour boil order when restored

The Nelsonville Water Department announces that due to a waterline repair on Monday, April 24, 2023, at 8:00AM, Monroe Street from Myers Street to the dead end and all North Street will be without water. There is no projected completion time, but the repair will be completed within the same day. Once the water service is restored, there will be a boil order for this area for 24 hours, unless notified otherwise.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.
