The City of Nelsonville is pleased to announce that The Libby Project will be holding a free core vaccines clinic on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00AM until 2:00PM at a NEW LOCATION, Nelsonville City Hall Lobby. The clinic was moved from the Dog Park to avoid any contamination of the park by nonvaccinated dogs.
The Libby Project is excited to offer this clinic in Nelsonville to support pet owners in need in the Nelsonville area. Since The Libby Project is a non-profit organization, they do ask for proof of financial assistance at registration to make sure the vaccines go to families who truly benefit.
The Libby Project vaccine clinic will provide a combined vaccine that protects dogs against 5 common canine diseases: Distemper, Adenovirus type 1 and 2, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. Dog owners interested in bringing their furry friend to the vaccine clinic need to pre-register for the clinic online at http://www.thelibbyproject.com/events. A booster vaccine will be given on Saturday, October 7, 2026.
Nelsonville City Hall is located at 211 Lake Hope Drive. The clinic will be held in the building lobby.
