Nelsonville boil order for Poplar St from Desteiguer to Burr Oak Blvd until 3PM, Thu, 2/19/2026, boil cooking and drinking water three (3) minutes before consuming

The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for Poplar Street from Desteiguer Street to Burr Oak Boulevard.

This boil order is due to a new water line being tied into the system. The boil order will be in effect for the area until 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2026.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
