CANCELLATION

The Nelsonville City Council regular meeting scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, has been canceled due to the severe winter weather.

Athens County is currently under a LEVEL 3 Snow Emergency. All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel, or a personal emergency exists. Please use extreme caution if you must travel.

RESCHEDULED

The Nelsonville City Council regular meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 7:00PM in Council Chambers at City Hall.

Citizens’ comments and business and organizational comments may be made in person or Emailed to councilclerk@cityofnelsonville.com by 1PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
