The City of Nelsonville announces that the following City Council Committees will be holding meetings on Monday, November 17, 2025, at City Hall.

6:00 PM – Planning and Development Committee

  • Data Center Ban
  • New Business

6:30 PM – Utilities Committee

  • Discussion of expiring trash hauling contract with Athens-Hocking Recycling Centers, Inc.

6:50 PM – Parks and Recreation Committee

  • Update on Nelson Commons Park renovation
  • Discussion of the tourism bid
  • Discussion about running power and water to the former equipment building at Polley Field.

7:35PM – Judiciary Committee

  • To discuss a violation by a Council member concerning the Nelsonville Charter, section 5.05, Council, Manager relations.
