The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and consider.

  • Council may go into a brief executive session in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code to discuss pending litigation before the Ohio Supreme Court that involves the City
  • Possible report from the City Attorney with updates on Ordinance 54-25, repealing Issue 23 that would abolishing Nelsonville’s city charter.
  • Reports from Council Members regarding Ordinance 54-25, repealing Issue 23 that would abolishing Nelsonville’s city charter and Council discussion
