The Nelsonville City Council will hold a special meeting on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 7:00 PM, at City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to,

  1. Subscribe and Sign Oaths for the Office of Nelsonville City Council.
  2. Elect a President and Vice President of Council.
  3. Discuss and re- appoint or appoint administrative offices.
  4. Discuss committees of council and assignments.
  5. Discuss an appropriation for the Volunteer Fire Department.
  6. Go into executive session, in accordance with Ohio Administrative Code, Rule 3358:17-1-04.2 | Executive sessions.
    1. Discuss appointment and compensation of Law Director
    1. Discuss pending litigation with attorney.
    1. Executive session to plan for bargaining session on employee contracts.
