The Nelsonville Water Department will be shutting off water service for all services West of the Dorr Run Road and West Washington Street intersection to include all of Dorr Run Road, Wend Road, Diamond Brick Road, Scenic Lane, and Ohio Health Urgent Care, on Thursday, September 29, 2022, starting 9:00AM and lasting approximately 5 hours. The water outage is due work on the waterline allowing crews to tie in a new waterline. When water service is restored, there will be a boil order until 3:00PM, Friday, September 30, 2022.
When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three minutes before being consumed.
