The City of Nelsonville public safety forces are currently working with the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail staff to quell a mass inmate disturbance at the facility. The disturbance is contained to the facility and is being cleaned up at this time. There is no danger to the public. Please do not call the facility or local public safety agencies with questions regarding the incident. More information will be released as it becomes available.
