The Nelsonville Water Department will be turning off water service on West Washington Street between Adams Street and Pine Grove Drive today March 30, 2021, between 9AM to 5PM due to a water valve replacement. Once water is restored a boil order will be issued until further notice.

Boil Orders are issued due to a repair or a leak on the mainline. When a boil order is in effect, we ask those affected to boil their drinking and cooking water for three minutes before being consumed.

This Boil Order is in effect until further notice, unless notified otherwise.

The City of Nelsonville has CANCELED the boil order for State Route 691 from the bike path to Kimberly Road, Kimberly Road from State Route 691 to Hopewell Health (old Poston School), and Minkers Run Road.
