The Nelsonville Water Department has issued a boil order for customers on Walnut Street, between Burr Oak Boulevard and Poplar Street. Specifically, address 976 to 1100 Walnut Street. This boil order is due to tying in a new water line. The boil order will be in effect for the area until 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2026.

When a boil order is in effect, we ask all who are affected to boil their cooking and drinking water for three (3) minutes before being consumed.
