The City of Nelsonville announces that The Parade of The Hills Festival Grand Parade street closures and NO PARKING will begin on Saturday, August 16, 2024, at 3:00 PM and remain closed through the duration of the Grand Parade. The full street closures with NO limited access are due to pedestrian safety concerns from prior years.
The following streets will be closed to all traffic:
- Poplar Street from Burr Oak Boulevard to Jefferson Street
- Jefferson Street from Poplar Street to Washington Street
- Washington Street from Jefferson Street to Madison Street
- Madison Street from Washinton Street to Columbus Street
- Columbus Street from Madison Street to the Public Square
- 3rd Street, Walnut Street, DeSteiguer Street, and Monroe Street
Please expect parade units and pedestrian traffic throughout the area. Please use caution in the area during the grand parade and please consider using an alternate route.
